Meet Our Family Law Lawyer
Lana Panagoulia is an attorney, mother and trained educator with a master's degree in teaching and teaching endorsements in early childhood education and French. During the span of her legal career, Lana Panagoulia interned for four judges, including a Michigan Supreme Court justice. She also interned for the Wayne County prosecutor's office in the child abuse and neglect division.
Lana has extensive professional and personal experience in the areas of divorce, custody and children's education. She was the assistant founding director, chief operating officer and associate fellow of The Institute for the Study of the African American Child (ISAAC) at the College of Education at Wayne State University.
Lana is actively involved in the community and in local bar associations. She is President of the Michigan Hellenic Bar Association and Treasurer of the Washtenaw County chapter of the Michigan Association for Justice. Lana served as Co-Chair of the Family Law Section of the Washtenaw County Bar Association for three years, during which time she organized seminars for family law attorneys on the subjects of bankruptcy and divorce, in addition to same-gender law issues in Michigan. Lana served on the Young Lawyers Advisory Board for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE).
